PLAYER BIO
Towering centre-back who signed for the Pitmen from Northern Premier League side Leek Town for an undisclosed fee in October 2024
A former trainee at the renowned Crewe Alexandra Academy, Harrison was a first-year professional with the club during the 2017-2018 season, playing in the U18 side and in the County Cup before being released at the end of the season
Harrison joined several English players in making the move to Sweden in August 2018 and joining second-tier side IFK Östersund for four months before returning to England early in 2019
Step four Leek signed the youngster shortly before the end of the 2018-2019 season, making his debut in a game against Glossop North End. In the next four seasons, Harrison became a mainstay in the Leek defence as they consistently knocked on the door for promotion back to step three, playing nearly 200 games and being named in the Northern Premier League West Team of the Year three years in a row
In 2023-2024, Leek finally clinched promotion as they ran away with the NPLW title, with Harrison once again dominant at the centre of defence for the Blues. After agreeing terms with Leek in the summer of 2024 to remain at the club ahead of their promotion year, Harrison made a dozen appearances at the start of the new campaign before Hednesford offered their Staffordshire rivals an undisclosed fee to bring the player back to step four in October 2024
