Experienced striker who joined the Pitmen in July 2024 after a spell at National League side Wealdstone
Amsterdam-born Duku played for several Dutch youth teams in his formative years before signing his first professional contract with Legmeervogels in July 2011. He spent a year there before joining FC Abcoude in July 2012. A two-year spell at the Utrecht-based outfit followed before a year-long spell at Eerste Klasse A side FC Breuklen and a short spell with VV Eemdijk in the fourth tier of Dutch football
In September 2015, Duku moved to England to try his luck in their pyramid system, linking up with Chesham United for a short spell before making the short move to Vauxhall Road to sign for Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town. He made only one start for the Tudors in an F.A. Trophy tie against Eastbourne Borough in December 2015 before signing for Hemel's local rivals King's Langley for the remainder of the season, helping them to promotion to the Southern Premier League as they clinched the Southern League Division One Central title at the end of the season
After a consistent spell at the start of the new season at step three, Duku made the move to league rivals Banbury United in February 2017, making a dozen appearances at the Spencer Stadium before returning to the Greater London area in July 2017 with a move to Hayes & Yeading
This proved to be a pivotal move in the striker's career as he plundered goals at an astonishing rate during the 2017-2018 season, grabbing thirty-eight goals in all competitions to lift Hayes & Yeading to a third-place finish in the Southern League Division One East table
His goalscoring form attracted attention from the professional ranks, with League Two side Cheltenham Town signing the tall, rangy striker on a free transfer in July 2018. After making a good start to life at Whaddon Road, he fell out of favour and joined Vanarama National League side Barnet, where he played alongside future Hednesford team-mates Elliott Johnson and Dan Sparkes in an impressive spell that brought three goals in nine starts
In February 2019, he returned to the National League with a loan move to FC Halifax Town, scoring another three goals at step one during his three-month spell at the Shay before being released at the end of the season by Cheltenham
It was another National League side who signed the striker on a free transfer in July 2019, with Torquay United announcing the signing of Duku on a one-year deal. His spell at Plainmoor proved fruitless with no goals in fifteen starts for the Gulls and he was allowed to return to Hayes & Yeading in January 2020, where he scored five times in fourteen games before the COVID pandemic put paid to the 2019-2020 season April 2020
Duku headed north to Scotland in August 2020, trailing for Raith Rovers and earning a contract with the Championship outfit. It proved to be a good piece of business for Raith, as Duku impressed with a ten-goal return in the 2020-2021 season as Rovers finished third in the table
Fellow Scottish Championship side Inverness Caledonian Thistle moved to sign the striker at the end of his Raith contract in July 2021. His spell in the Highlands proved less successful than his one at Raith, with only two goals to show for his twenty-five appearances for Caley Thistle throughout 2021-2022
A return to England in February 2022 saw him sign for Vanarama National League South side Havant & Waterlooville, grabbing regular goals for the Hawks finished just outside the play-off places at the end of the season
A remove back to the National League in July 2022 saw Duku return to Yorkshire to sign for newly-promoted York City in July 2022. He was a regular starter for the Minstermen in their new York Community Stadium, although it was to prove to be a season of struggle as York looked to adapt to step one football again with a nineteenth-placed finish
Duku headed abroad in July 2023, joining Gibraltar Football League side Manchester 62. He found goals easy to come by in his handful of appearances on the Rock, scoring at the rate of a goal a game before returning to England to join Vanarama National League side Maidstone United. His arrival was timed perfectly as his debut coincided with the Stones' now-famous humbling of Championship high-flyers Ipswich Town just four days later, with Duku starting up front in the 2-1 win, by far the biggest shock of the 2023-2024 F.A. Cup
In March 2024, after a handful of appearances for Maidstone, Duku joined league rivals Weadlstone for a short spell until the end of the 2023-2024 season as Wealdstone finished sixteenth in the National League
In July 2024, Hednesford manager Steve King - a long-time admirer of Duku after the pair had crossed paths over the years - signed the free agent, becoming the Pitmen's latest big-name signing ahead of their Northern Premier League West campaign
