Experienced right-back - also comfortable at left-back if required - who joined the Pitmen from Vanarama National League North side Radcliffe in December 2024
Crewe-born and a member of the famous Alex academy, Morgan's one-year professional deal was brought to an end at Gresty Road in the summer of 2016, where he was released and linked up with North West Counties League Sandbach Town for the 2016-2017 season. Nantwich Town manager Dave Cooke had spotted the youngster's potential and invited him for a trial at the Weaver Stadium, playing well in some of the Dabbers' pre-season games to earn himself a deal for the 2017-2018 season. It was to prove a masterstroke as Morgan played fifty times that season for Nantwich, scoring once and sweeping up at the end of the season awards
Forty more games for the Dabbers in 2018-2029, weighing in with four more goals, had clubs higher up the pyramid flocking to watch him, with local rivals Chester moving to bring him in on a long-term contract in July 2019
The next two seasons were one of frustration for both Morgan and Chester as 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 were both voided due to the Covid pandemic, despite over twenty starts for the right-back at the Deva Stadium
After starting the 2021-2022 season out of the picture at Chester, Morgan made a return to Nantwich on loan in November 2021, making four appearances before being loaned out to Vanarama National League neighbours Altrincham for two months in January 2022
After seven starts for Alty, Morgan made a further return to Nantwich for the remainder of the season on another loan, making another eleven starts for the Dabbers in the Northern Premier League
A fresh start for Morgan at Chester in 2022-2023 saw him return to the side for their Vanarama National League North campaign, making twenty starts as they finished third in the league but missed out on promotion via the play-offs
A move to ambitious and big-spending Northern Premier League side Radcliffe followed in the summer of 2023, with the Blue romping to the title and promotion to National League North with twenty-eight wins from forty games. Morgan was a regular starter with over thirty appearances, weighing in with an impressive ten goals from full-back
After fourteen games at step two once more for the struggling Blues in 2024-2025, Hednesford manager Gavin Hurren moved to bring the 26-year-old to Keys Park ahead of their pre-Christmas trip to Vauxhall Motors
