PLAYER BIO
Exciting right winger who joined the Pitmen in July 2024 after leaving Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton earlier in the week
Nottingham-born Bearne joined Premier League giants Liverpool from an early age, playing through the age groups to earn his first professional contract at Anfield in the summer of 2018. After playing for the U18s in 2018-2019, Bearne was promoted to the Premier League 2 squad in 2019-2020, where he made six appearances as well as one in the EFL Trophy against Oldham Athletic in August 2019
In March 2020, with Liverpool's senior players committed to the World Club Cup in Qatar, the club was forced to field a largely inexperienced side in their Carabou Cup quarter-final against Aston Vila, with Bearne one of the youngsters earning a call-up in the 5-0 defeat
Eleven PL2 appearances in 2020-2021 was followed by twenty-five in 2021-2022 as Bearne continued to press for more first-team action for Jurgen Klopp's side. In the early stages of the 2022-2023 season, he was loaned out to Vanamara National League side Kidderminster Harriers on a long-term loan, making twenty-six starts as Harriers finished in the play-offs with a sixth-placed finish
With his long-term Liverpool deal now up, Bearne departed Anfield in May 2023 and made the move to Scotland, linking up with tier-two Morton on an initial two-year deal. He was a regular starter at Cappielow Park, making just short of thirty starts as Morton finished fifth at the end of the 2023-2024 season
Despite having another year on his deal, Bearne's contract was terminated by mutual consent in July 2024, allowing him to return to England and sign for Steve King's Pitmen
